Here we are, on Wednesday, and I am just now getting here! It has been a whirlwind week with program practice, a Christmas project, and many other things!
I gave the students a spelling test today, as we had one leaving early. I told them if they got a 100% they would not have to take it tomorrow. Please check with your child if they need to study tonight or not! All spelling homework packets are due tomorrow, either way.
Thursday will be filled with finishing up semester units, center activities, and numerous other things! If all goes well, Friday will be filled with Mass, celebration, projects, and a Christmas party at 2.
When we return, in January, we will jump right into our routine. We will not be far from our 100th Day Celebration. That is another day full of activities, food, and fun!
Tonight our program is at 6:30. Please arrive at 6:15. Some students mentioned they were going to arrive earlier. I told them they were not to sit in their chairs until I arrive in the gym, at 6:15.
Thank you for a wonderful semester! I have experienced wonderful support and I appreciate that. We have worked hard, learned many new things, shared ideas, and experiences. It has been a busy 90 days! Hold on tight! The next 90 will move even faster! I have already told the students we will start practicing being second graders!
Have a wonderful and restful break! Enjoy your time together! See you all in January! Merry Christmas and many blessings for the new year!
