Thank you for all your support these past few days! It is very much appreciated by the staff and myself! Please know we are just rolling along in first grade. As I told the students, when we are in this classroom things are the same as they have been. I am here, they are here, and we still have a fun and busy first grade agenda to complete. Your children have been wonderful! Homework for Tuesday and Wednesday October 1 and October 2, 2019 Spelling Backpack Page Reading Folder Pictures are tomorrow, October 3rd. They may be ordered online or by sending in the order envelope. Your student may wear a non uniform shirt to school. They must bring their uniform shirt to change into after pictures. They should wear their uniform pants or skorts as the photo is only from the shoulders up. This will also save time changing. Last day to wear shorts will be October 4th. Parent teacher conference letters have been mailed. If you need to reschedule please call Mrs. Simmons and she can help you with that. Have a wonderful day! |

Good morning! Welcome to October! Please be patient with me. With the added duties at school and the crazy internet at my rural home, things are hectic! Here is the latest! Monday, September 30, 2019 Spelling Backpack Page Reading Folder Gummy snacks are running low. This is our quick, pick me up, at 10 am. The students love their afternoon snack. Some forget, often. I am no longer providing a backup for chronic forgetfulness. I have given them suggestions, such as packing it the night before or when they pack their lunch. Please help your child remember their snack. I will be adding it to the nightly homework. I hope to see you at tonight's parent meeting, at 6:00pm. This meeting will explain our transition and hopefully answer any questions or concerns you might have. Dr. Dispenzerie, our Diocesan Catholic School Superintendent has been wonderful! She will be present to answer questions and talk about how we are moving forward! |
