Please see Virus Days 2020 page for daily updates.
F.Y. I First grade does not turn in any paperwork until April 28th. Please do not tear the pages out of the books. You will turn in the entire workbook. This makes it easier for me to keep things in order. This is the last week you will work in your workbooks. Please check the Turn It In drop down box to be sure you have everything completed that needs turned in on the 28th. Remember---PLEASE DO NOT TEAR OUT ANY PAGES! If you did, just stick them back into the workbook in order. Thank you!

Journal Entries:
1. Use Resource Page 1. You will find this on the Parent Portal in Online Fun. Write about something you have done while home during Distance Learning. Make sure your sentences start with a capital letter, have an endmark, and you used your very, very best spelling. Please date your journal page. Draw a picture about this event.
2.Use Resource Page 4. Your topic is your favorite thing about first grade. When you write about why and give me details, once again, make sure your sentences start with a capital letter, have an endmark, and you used your very, very best spelling. Please date your journal page.

I Ready Math
Note to Parents:
I am assigning all the lessons needed to complete first grade. I have the due dates set so that 4 lessons must be completed each week, to stay on track. These will show as the Blue Lessons when your child logs into I Ready. By assigning them all it will allow your child to work ahead if they want to do more than 4 lessons each week.
Sign into I Ready. Do the blue lessons. You need to complete 4 lessons each week.
Some of you have completed your blue lessons! Congratulations! You may work on the green lessons of I Ready or Reflex. Please continue working on some math to keep those skills fresh and ready for second grade!

Religion
(I am writing this April 17, 2020!) We are starting our second Week of Easter! Did you know the Easter season lasts for 50 days? I am very excited for this Sunday's Mass as Fr. Don, with the help of Mrs. Nagel, will be leading us from St. Augustine Church for Divine Mercy Sunday. I am in the mood for some happy music and a couple of my favorite childhood songs! Dance and sing along!
